Kazerne Dossin offers a workshop for young visitors on a story of 11-year-old Simon, who managed to escape from the deportation train. He is the central character of the visit. Workshop includes a guided tour, where the guide introduces visitors to Simon: Who was he? When did he live? Where did he live? During the workshop young visitors work in small groups and this is followed by a brief evaluation and time to reflect on different themes: Refugees, Jewish identity, war, exclusion, freedom, resistance, rights of children, commemoration.
Target groups: Children (10-12 years).
