CDEC Foundation is the major Italian institute for the history and the documentation on contemporary Italian Jewry. Established in 1955 CDEC is part of the network of Jewish cultural and documentation centers worldwide and a member of EHRI – European Holocaust Research Infrastructure. CDEC Foundation is active in: Acquisition and preservation of archival documents, pictures, publications and audiovisual materials; Conferences, exhibitions, documentary and film festivals; Seminars and workshops; Guidance and advice for scholars and institutions.
